Recently, our team had the opportunity to participate in a photoshoot with a 70s style theme, featuring vibrant green and yellow tones. As the makeup artist for the shoot, I was excited to create a unique look for our model that would complement the retro aesthetic.
I decided to focus on a pop makeup look, with a green accent on the eyes. The idea was to make the model's eyes stand out and add a pop of color to the overall look. I used a variety of green eyeshadows in different shades and finishes to create depth and dimension. I also used a liquid eyeliner to create a thick winged look, which added a touch of drama to the eyes.
To balance out the bold eye makeup, I kept the rest of the face minimal and natural. I used a sheer foundation to even out the skin tone and added a touch of blush and highlighter to add a subtle glow. I also used a neutral lip color to keep the focus on the eyes.
The result was a stunning look that perfectly complemented the 70s style of the photoshoot. The blue accent on the eyes added a touch of fun and playfulness to the overall look, while still maintaining a vintage feel. The model looked stunning and the photos turned out beautifully.
Overall, it was a great experience working on this photoshoot and experimenting with different makeup techniques to create a unique and retro look. The color pop makeup with the blue accent on the eyes was a perfect choice for the 70s style theme and we couldn't be happier with the final result.
